Carter County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

DANG, Daniel…sorry to hear that.

The Increased Density order expires on July 5th.

Ann,

I just found out the Location Exception was continued until 6/10/2013.

This was first filed on May 29, 2012.

I did a little checking of 6 other items that were also continued. It sounds like XTO is clearing their docket for a possible trial on increased density for those 10 wells.

Ricki,

I should add that XTO has most of the leases east of I-35, Marshall County, Love County, Johnston County, and Bryan County. XTO is a division of Exxon.

Ricki,

The only thing I have heard of is the pipeline XTO is having built to gather products and ship them North, to I think Wynnewood and then to Cushing.

Bluenight Energy is the company that has the pipeline and contract with XTO.

Update on Dubeil well. They have TD, out of the hole and running production casing. Guess they will be fracing soon. So far so good.

Clint Liles. Just want to say thanks for the info you are supplying. I am sure everyone on this board appreciates your efforts.

I was looking at Section 31 or 32 3S 3E and noticed a drilling permit for a 3rd well, but did not ask for an increased density. I found out that the 3rd well, though in the same section as the other 2 wells, was not drilled in the same formation. The first two wells were drilled in the WOODFORD and the third well was drilled in the CANEY.

The CANEY seems to be pretty thick, I think around 350’+ and it has some oil.

Hello, my name is Ricki. My family has mineral rights in Carter County. We are wondering if anyone has information concerning the completion of the Red River Pipeline and the Processing Plant at Godley, Texas. If so, we would love to hear about it!!! I really appreciate all of the questions and answers offered on this site!! Thanks!!!

Ronald,

Good luck, I hope it’s a good one.

I found some interesting information while checking the activity close to my mineral interest around Section 25, Township 3S, Range 2E and Section 30, Township 3S, Range 3E. I have not looked at every section in the Township/Range, but noticed what looks like XTO has purchased all the wells in Township 3S, Range 1E.

XTO has multiple well activity, drilled wells, drilling wells, or permitted wells, in the following sections of:

3S 2E:

Section 12 – 4 wells - drilling

Section 23 – 10 wells – drilling, drilled, or permitted

Section 24 – 4 wells permitted

Section 26 – 4 drilled

Section 36 – 4 wells drilled

3S 3E:

Section 18 – 9 wells, drilled or drilling

Section 21 – 9 wells, drilled or drilling

Section 32 – 9 wells, requesting increased density (under protest, requesting trial)

Ricki,

I have no inside information, but I have a lot of guesses.

Absolutely, nothing is happening in Section 25. In Section 30, there is an approved INCREASED DENSITY order for 1 well. It is to be drilled from the SW corner to the NW corner in the WOODFORD shale. There is a LOCATION EXCEPTION request pending; it has been ‘CONTINUED’ 5 or 6 times by the lawyers. I think this is due to a protest of an INCREASED DENSITY request in Section 32 for 9 wells and XTO wants to go to trial, so I think the lawyers have put most everything else on hold.

The LOCATION EXCEPTION request is scheduled for hearing on 6/10/2013. The INCREASED DENSITY request will expire on 7/4/2013 and it is my feeling that this will happen as I think XTO will come back and ask for another INCREASED DENSITY for 4 wells.

As you know, ROSALIE and HOBBS are not doing very well right now. HOBBS had a problem with fluid buildup and was shut down for 2 months. There was a GAS LIFT installed in HOBBS to move the fluid, which I think is mostly salt water. We should see the results on the next check

Ricki,

Do you happen to know WHATLEY ROSALIE HOBBS?

Ok! Thanks again!!! Great information!!!

Daniel,

I went to the Oklahoma Corporation Commission website, but I could not find the link for the “hearings.” Would you please send that website info again? Thanks, Ricki.

LOL!! Thanks Daniel.

Ricki,

I left out the fact there is a drilling pad on Section 30. It is down in the SW corner, about 300 or 400 feet from Mt. Pleasant Rd.

We own mineral rights over a contiguous tract in Sections 27 and 28. These were under lease back in the 70s but never yielded any activity and they have not been under lease since that time.

Wondering if anyone on this board knows of a reason that there might be some current interest or any exploration that might suggest future interest in leasing in this part of the County? Thanks for any input… Jay Marchant

Daniel, we also have mineral rights in Sections 25 and 30. What info do you have concerning the drilling/wells in those two sections? Thanks! Ricki
