For Braxton County they show 1000 active wells, but no new activity or drilling for the past 7 years or so.
I think Cunningham Energy was doing some exploratory work in Braxton a few years ago, using horizontal fracking in old oil bearing formations. I thought they had achieved pretty good production numbers. I haven’t heard anything from them in a few years, though. They seem to have kind of fallen off the face of the earth. Otherwise, it’s like PeteR said, not much going on.
