I would like to thank M Barnes publicly for helping my family through the leasing process. I followed her comments on this forum and used her recommended links to access data and educational material. Took her advice on changes to existing lease. She uses her time and talents to help everyone on this forum without expecting anything in return! Thank You Martha
Update on the sec 8 well just SW of Canton. They are closing in on completion but still in the hands of service companies. I think the fracking is done. 4 tall tanks are bundled together and a metal wall between them and the wellhead is in place. The heater treaters remain. There are two meter houses. There is a big black vertical pipe standing at least 10’-15’ high at the back corner of the site, it has a solar panel with it. It looks like permanent equipment near the wellhead with round oblong tanks, all blue in color. Several frack tanks and a crane remain near the wellhead. It is busy but not as much as it was nearly 3 weeks ago.
Folks in Kingfisher County and Blaine County should be following closely what is being put out by Newfield, Continental, Devon and Cimarex, the main players in the Stack play. This recent update by Newfieldhttp://www.newfield.com/assets/pdf/@NFX_2016_06_21.pdf
shows full field development planned for 2017, and an update on the Clouber test well just permitted last week. (page 7). It will have 9 wells, in both the upper and lower Meremac, with very tight spacing. Full field development could mean more multi well platforms in one section.
We have been reporting on most of this on www.okenergytoday.com.

I have mineral interest in section 8 Blaine County that is currently producing and I have been approached to purchase my mineral interest. What do these companies making these offers have to gain when it is currently under production?
Larry:
New horizontal wells will be drilled on these leases that are held by old vertical wells. Although there may be no leasing or participation opportunities, all the income from the new well(s) is the appeal.
They are doing some drilling in that part of Blaine and Kingfisher Counties. $6500 seems low to me. In my opinion I would keep my minerals unless you need the money. They have hit some good wells in 16-10.
Section 9-15N-10W
Have been offered $6,500.00 per acre for my mineral deed. Have no idea if this is a good offer or not. Any info and or advice would be appreciated.
Diane, that offer in 9-15N-10W is very low compared to the current offers in the area and the potential for additional wells in the section. I am catty corner to you and have been offered MUCH more but will not be selling.
Thanks for the completions update Tom.

I need to find a good title lawyer to straighten out an error that occurred when some of the mineral rights were left out of my mother’s trust. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Kendall, thank you for your suggestion about Veva. We went to school together. She is a little younger than I am so we weren’t in the same class.
Anyone have any information on the Newfield Brown Farms well (8-18N-13W). I have heard 700 bopd and, perhaps more reliably, 300 bopd and 4MMCFD but I do not have any direct information. Just wondering if anyone knows anything more. thanks.
I’m a new member of this group but can’t see on the site where to post my question. Loy Martin

Paul, If you subscribe ( free) to Ok Energy Today, the completions and intent to drill notices are posted daily. I saw these same reports there.
Jim, They are not releasing any info on 8-18-13 as Tapstone is contesting the 480 acre spacing that Newfield requested. Tapstone is demanding all detailed records from the well and if an agreement can’t be reached, the Corporation Commission will hear and presumably rule in mid -December, 2016.
