Mr. Moore, may I ask where did you find this information on these Continental wells? I have been looking for results of that Madeline for a month and never have been able to find anything on it.
Thank you for your assistance.

Thanks for the replies on my questions this morning. When I got a chance to look at the OK Energy site, I saw the information. Should have looked there before asking the question.
Direct link to the reports that Tom listed: http://okenergytoday.com/2016/08/20607/
Cecil:
There have been no new wells drilled since you leased in this section.
However, a lot of paperwork filed by both Continental & Marathon on this section, so it looks like a well is imminent.
Looking for online gas royalty estimating tool. I want to input production Mcf, well head price, acres owned etc. Is there something available. Also, if the total section is 640 acres and it is split 66.7% in one section and 33.3 in another section how do I formulate (or input) this to make the gas royalty accurate?
Thanks Tom! All the best to you! G
We have 80 acres of mineral righs in Section 32 14N 13W and Continental is drilling 66.7% of this well in Section 32 and 33.3 percent in Section 29 14N 13W where we have no rights. The drilling crosses all the way thru our section and partially in to section 29.
Greg Even with a two section well, you are only paid on the section you are in, not 1280. The formula is:
net acres/640 (or actual section acres) x royalty x % of well in your section.
Friend me with the blue icon on the left and I will share the spreadsheet with you. You have to account for oil, gas, pricing, decline and taxes. All in there for a ballpark estimate.
In ND, it is like Tom said, but OK is different.
âEARTHQUAKE RESPONSE: The Oklahoma Corporation Commissionâs Oil and Gas Division (OGCD) is in the process of implementing a mandatory directive to shut down all Arbuckle disposal wells within a 725 square mile area, based on the location of the earthquake that occurred shortly after 7 a.m. on September 3, 2016 near Pawnee. The area includes 211 square miles of Osage County, which is outside of OGCD jurisdiction. OGCD is working with the Environmental Protection Agency, which has sole jurisdiction over disposal wells in Osage County. The EPA will determine what action to take in that area.â
The Ponca/Pawnee earthquake is in an ancient north south Mid-Continent fault zone area, perhaps made more slippery by water disposal injection wells in the wrong formation. Lots of research being done.
Not promising for sure, but Blaine is in a different structural situation and the Meramec and Woodford do not have as much produced water as the Mississippi Lime. Time will tell.
Article from about a month ago.
Barnes is spot on, situation much differnt as you go west.
Did anyone in this group attend the Mineral Owners Workshop in Oklahoma City on September 24th? I was disappointed that I didnât get to attend.
Dear Miss Karon,
Highmark is an independent oil and gas company in Dallas (Irving).
I received a notice in the mail from Highmark Resources to establish a 640 acre drilling and spacing unit for section 26 18n 12w Blaine County OK. Has anyone heard of Highmark Resources? I would appreciate any information that you have available. Thank you in advance.
Jim, It is my understanding that no production records will be released until the squabble over the 480 acre well spacing is settled. The hearing is set for Mid-December if Newfield and the other 2 companies canâr reach an agreement. Tapstone and Phillips tried unsuccessfully to get production records on the Brown Farms in 8-18-13.
Thanks, Lanny. I was told NFX dropped their filing for the 480 acre spacing and was sticking with the 640 acres. Their is still a filing by Tapstone asking for well data. I canât figure out what is happening. Appreciate the information.
I own minerals in the following counties:
Blaine: 16-13N-13W and 26-13N-13W (11.43 acres each)
Caddo: 24-12N-13W (22.43 acres)
I am thinking of selling and have an offer of $3700/acre for Caddo and
$4375/acre for Blaine. The Blaine property each have a horizontal gas well with 3/16 royalty. The Caddo property is under lease at 3/16 but no producing well at this time. I am seeking comments as to whether the offer is reasonable.
Does anyone know anything about the Newfield Brown Farms well in 18N-13W? it was completed in June and I heard it was a good oil well with a lot of gas but I have seen no completion or production reports and wonder if they are filed or soon will be.
Jim, From what I read they only dropped the pressure to get the production records now because the spacing would be heard in mid-December by the C Commission. Thatâs what it looks like on the CC web too.
Mr. Bost, I think those offers are too low. Generally, first offers are lower than what the final offers might be. Before you sell, ready the current investor presentations from Newfield, Continental, Marathon, Devon and Cimarex.
Lanny, I received a copy today of the signed order on behalf of Newfield dropping their spacing request on the Brown Farms well and cancelling the December hearing. Happened in August so donât know why I was not furnished a copy by Newfield. Happy to provide you if youâd like a copy. Thank you for your input which nudged me to check with attorneys. Now, I just wonder when they will release completion information.
