Beckham County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

Thanks, M! I will let it “stew.”

I would like to know if the interest is moving south. My cousin lives I 9N 24W and I have 99 acres minerals in 18 9N 24W that is not leased. BP was the last to lease but the lease is expired

Kirk,

Your cousin is in a good place geologically. Horizontal drilling taking place 7 miles NNE is with good OK operators. If they move south will depend on the success they enjoy but I expect land trap leasing in the area to happen next year. Your cousin will be in an enviable position with lots of options besides taking an old oil business lease.

Thanks Gary. I have been watching it and waiting for a chance to lease if the offer is fair

Kirk, The longer you wait, the more "fair’ the offer will be. thing is you get to choose once, then in the new oil business It will probably be the last one for 40 years. Plan ahead Gary H.

Has any one heard of activity in 22w 19n? Any information would be appreciated.

KJW, that may be low. I had an offer of $2500 3/16 in April. I turned them down because they wanted a 2 year extension which I never do, but you can see the room for upside on your family offer. Sec 36 had $2700 3/16 offer a while back.

Jeanne,

How many acres do you own?

Upon closer inspection, it turns out the lease on section 24 isn’t up until the end of the year. Thank you again, though, for the information, M. Barnes.

All of two acres (2)

I goofed. The offer is in 11North (18-11N-22W)/

Jeanne Here are some wells close to you.

Here is what they were ordered to offer in the pooling before they got the good wells. The 1/4th might be something to think about and the terms of your lease are very important.

Apache has permits for sections 3,11,23 & 24-11n-22w

Received offer to lease Sec. 18- 10N-22W.

$1000 acre, three year and 3/16. Also wanted a two year extension which I told the caller that I wouldn’t consider.

Does the $1,000, three year and 3/16 sound reasonable?

Mike if you are talking about 9n-22w there are poolings pending in 15 &16 for vertical hole wells.

We own interest in 7-10N-24W in Beckham County, and I was told earlier this year that Linn was planning to drill a well there. I saw a lot of paperwork several months ago but still haven’t heard anything definite. I saw a notice in the Daily Oklahoman today about an intent to drill (Sanguine Gas Exploration) in 7-10N-26W. I’m not in Beckham County and am wondering if anybody knows anything about what might be going on in section 7.

Thank you.

Here is the pooling for 7-10n-24w . They have until 2/10/15 to drill under this pooling.

Thank you for the information, Ron.

Let me again ask my question of Sept. 4, hoping to find someone who has info by now.

Re Section 18, 11N, R22W, Beckham County.

I have offer of $1,000 acre, three year with 3/16.

Called NARO but their latest U.S. Price Report is for July-August.

Anyone?

I’ve been seeing it some lately, Mike. Used to have to request an AFE.

I used to only see it when I was pooled.
