Was contacted by Bearcat Land wanting to know if I was interested in leasing my minerals in Caddo County. I don’t have the trac location yet, they are sending me an email later today with their info and Lease offer. Their offer is $1200 an acre for three years @ 3/16th or $800 for 1/5th. There was mention of a 2 year option also.
So my question is are there any new drilling going on in Caddo?
No, there wasn’t. I was entertaining two offers from two landmen. One stated He would best any other offer. When it was discovered they were both bidding for the same company, we stopped at $1500, 1/5th. I took the advice of an Oil/Gas Attorney and got all the changes I requested to the original contract.
We have received an uptick in offers and leasing over the past few weeks here in 10N11W in Caddo. I am not in the hotbed sections (18-34).. on the opposite corner. I don’t see anyone filing but landmen representing Continental and Coterra have both reached out. Any insight? Anyone seeing similar interest?
In negotiations with Bearcat representing Continental for Sec18-10n-10w. Just received a call Tues afternoon. I live in Texas, but have been told there is activity going on in that area.
Almost 600 leases have been filed in 10N-11W in the last 24 months. Duncan has a rig going from sec 2 going north into 11N-11W. Staghorn has OCC cases in the far SW sections.
Almost 450 leases filed in 10N-10W in the last 24 months. No OCC cases, but given the leasing pattern, expect Continental Resources to be the operator. BCE-MACH has a rig going in 10N-9W.
Can someone tell me the tract description of a well name? The well name is GSA 1-29, property # 3501522821.01 and 3501522821.02. This well hasn’t produced much over the last several years. It was with Linn Energy before bankruptcy and is now with Staghorn. I’m betting the well has been capped late 2025. TIA
[3501522821]. API number located in 29-10N-11W. Owned by Staghorn. Still listed as active with last production 112025. Production numbers are usually posted on a three months delay.
The date is the same as my last Check from Staghorn, but the ytd total for 2025 wasn’t much and the check was under $100. They don’t issue checks less than $11 until the end of the year. Thanks for the info
