Thanks, Ron! That is a much better, more readable map than I had before, It looks as if Melrose is nest to 17-24N-10W; however, the N and the W are missing. Am I getting less confused? Bill

Does anyone know if Chesapeake has bought the rights to the NE Cherokee Unit in Alfalfa County, it encompasses 10 sections in 27n 11w and 27n 10w. The current operator is Linn , but they are not drilling horizontally into the Mississippian that I know of… There have been some huge wells drilled in sections directly north and south of the NE Cherokee Unit. I know Chesapeake completed seismic in this area last month and was curious what to expect next.

Shelly I sent a friend request with my # & email .

Ron, we have the Lovina well listed in your report below. My Mother passed away over a year ago. We are still dickering with Chesapeake over the paperwork, and it seems that they are just messing with us. Is that a possibility? They say we will need to get an OK lawyer to sort it all out. Do you have a recommendation? Thanks.

Completions and permits come from Daily Oklahoman online, OKC news paper, Business Section. Do you have a township and range for the LWH Trust well and I see what I can find. Okla. Corporation Comm.'s web site has a lot of information but can be hard to use. Then there are web sites that you can pay for information.

Harold I don’t know if that is it or not JM said LWH Trust 1-19H

18-27n-10w is directly north of sec 19 which my family has interest in… Any idea if they will drill soon in sec 19?? seismic was completed in Jan…Any idea if the entire NE Cherokee unit will be drilled soon? I spoke to Chesapeake and they did seismic over the entire area.

Ron, The base map link you posted is very helpful! Would you please share the source of the prolific well info you post? Wife’s family has minerals scattered thru OK and S Kan and I am going to do some research. Thanx. Have you heard of a Chesapeake LWH Trust 1-19H. Have a guy trying to sell me minerals - says it’s one of the “best wells in the entire play”. I haven’t been able to locate it. Thanx again.
