Does anyone have any information on all types of minerals in Zapata County in Texas? It is my understanding that historically, it has not been an area with substantial oil/gas production (??). But, if there are other minerals there that could be worth something and potentially produce revenue, it would be interesting. So, just checking…

@TheStockster this is really a good question with the concern with the United States’ dependence on foreign rare earth minerals. I definitely restrict my leases to oil, gas and related products – not just in Zapata, but in every county where I own the minerals.
