My family has had a lease with them. After my mothers passing i have mineral rights to little less then an acre. I need to sigh new lease. They offer 100 bucks (as bonus) said it was incentibe to sign. 5yr lease. I know split 5 ways i received 2500 a couple years ago so that was 12500 total that my family ownes. Is 100 too small i wonder
You would get more accurate help if you put what state and county and a legal description. The amount of a lease bonus is totally dependent upon the geology and perceived value of the potential reservoir. Personally, I never sign a lease for more than three years. Always ask what they are offering for 3/16ths 1/5, and 1/4th.
