This is going to be a job , it will take a lawyer and some money , that is why I wondered if you knew how big an interest you had .

Yes, I know the list. Questions?

You should see if anyone on here knows a lawyer in Woods Co. or some one who could do research for a lawyer you know, the Wood Co. clerk might know someone you could contact to help get some more info.

Ron, my Grandfather put my father’s share in a trust for us kids so he wouldn’t spend it. Uncles were in charge of making the money grow and we were to get it at the age of 18. My father passed when I was 10 but we didn’t know until 2 years later. I doubt he even had a will. He was in a hospital somewhere but his share was already in the trust for us. We all got money when we turned 18.

Nick, thank you for the link!

oh that makes sense. All the aunts and uncles, father, grandfather are gone but Chesapeake contacted me themselves. I don’t remember how he said he found me but I spoke with Jay Brown from Superior Resources. He asked for birth and death certificates which I supplied but couldn’t find my two cousins. There are no other relatives, So he said I had to prove he was my father then he quit talking to me. Another lady got to me on FB and said he was no longer with the company and she would be taking over and no more response from her either.

Lora, Have you called Chesapeake’s “contact center”. If not, have your pooling order in hand & whatever else you may have and dial 877-245-1427. I would be interested in hearing how it goes.

I think you may be talking about the Massman #2-24 which has been plugged. Not sure why the volumes can’t be pulled up on the OCC site but, they are here:
