I am curious if the operators that have drilled in Sections 12, 14, and 24 Block 51 Township 8 South are producing from the Wolfcamp A, B, C, or D or all of the above? Is there potential for Wolfcamp stacked play here? I am small mineral owner here. The total vertical depth of the first well drilled in Section 12 was 10,594β with a TD of 14,888β. The lower Wolfcamp may contain lots of water I do not know. Any help here is appreciated, LedP
In Sections 12, 13, 24 wells are only producing from WC A. In Section 11 and 14 the wells look to be in the WC A and the WC XY (200β above the A), alternating depths.
It does look like anything in the lower A/B is a bit more wet around there. No clue about anything below that. No obvious wells landed in those zones in the area. Some BoneSpring producers in the area that arenβt awful.
Right now the pathway to decent wells looks to be drilling WC A on wider (i.e. 1320β spacing). Which is what CVX is doing there. Not the greatest part of Reeves County based on what I know.
