Winkler County, TX - Oil & Gas Discussion

Since the new website it seems our Winkler County Oil & Gas Discussion group has died. It has been “archived” and you can no longer post to it. It was an active group up until the change, and I miss the chatter with the likes of Clint Liles, Rock Man, Lawrence Rayburn and others.

So, I’m starting this new group to try and get things going again.

Can anyone shed light on what Oasis is doing with the former Forge Energy holdings? I see several new horizontal permits but no wells yet, at least not on my sections.

Clint, how do you search for recent spud dates?

@Caleb_Small and others… you’ll find lots of help here Getting Started - Mineral Rights Forum

Good morning Caleb. You can pull up the approved permit and with in a couple of days after the well is spud the spud date should be posted in the Status Area.

OR you can click on the W1 link and type in the 6 digit number/as in this case 837273 and click submit at the bottom left of the W1 form.

Hope this helps.
