Does anyone know of any drilling in Kirtley area right now? If so, how much are the signing bonuses per acre going for? Any advice would help.
This is in the “in between area” for the Eagle Ford plays that are taking place in Burleson County, Texas / Lee County, Texas (NE) and Fayette County, Texas / Lavaca County, Texas / Gonzales County, Texas area (SW).
Some Austin Chalk drilling south of this area plus some Taylor Sand horizontals in far SW Lee County.
No idea on lease bonus terms but suggest you check out other Fayette County mineral rights blogs - I believe that I saw some info on leasing in the county.
