I own a small percent of several different mineral locations totaling over 4,000 acres. Shale & Apache have leased all of the minerals but mine. They emailed me an offer for a lease along with some of the other mineral owners that I’m related to. They all got a lease and their signing bonus. Shale & Apache won’t do the same with me. Can I find another oil company that would lease it? How can they refuse to give me the lease and still drill for my minerals?

If your local state does not have pooling (integration, unitization, well spacing, whatever you want to call it) then they can simply “space you out” of the drilling unit they create themselves. Small interests can get screwed. Royalty owners need to band together and lease en masse.
