Why the Delay

Frac equipment was arriving late December 2024 and it appears they completed it in January. I’ve never received division orders and the auto reply to my email to Apache says it will be 45 to 60 days to get a response!

Just wondering if anyone might know what could be delaying it?

Chuckwagon 34-39

Sec 33 and 34 blk 27

You are asking about two months too early. Five Chuckwagon wells. Wells were completed between Jan 31 and March 31, 2025. They have hundreds of mineral owners to run title on, so Division orders will not go out until they are finished. It does take months to run them. Have patience!

Hi Joe, have you received any update yet? I have an interest in the same wells but nothing yet

Not a word. I’ve sent messages to all my contacts at Apache. Some have probably been laid off so no response if course

As you are waiting for DO’s from APA, I suggest you go to the Tx RRC site and look at the production from these Chuckwagon wells.

Operator ID # 027200. District 8. Look for April and May 2025 production under the “pending” category.

Five wells with production info

Im not sure how to access the “pending” report. All I find is production info for the original Chuckwagon drilled a few yrs ago.

Here is screen shot of the page and what needs to filled in to get the APA pending wells for May 2025

This is the “Production Reports Query Form” from main menu

I see now! Thanks … Hopefully DO’s will come soon.

Apache is having a lot of turnover because of a merger and their current Division Order department isn’t very organized. The merger could also be a reason for monies sitting in suspense. Have you been in contact with Division Orders? If not, give it a little bit longer. I’ve pinged them for a client and will report back when I hear back.

When I sent a message to the owner relations box a reply came back they would respond within 30 days. 2nd message they told me my request was assigned to a division order analyst and i would get a response in 45 to 60 days!

DO’s are always a hurry up and wait process - and even more so with horizontal wells and their potentially much larger number of royalty owners.

Keep in mind that the first check you receive will be several months of early, flush production - makes the wait worth it!

Finally a response from Apache. Chuckwagon wells are live in their system now for a couple of weeks and my interest is in suspense for “title issue” .. seems strange since i was receiving payments on the original well drilled yrs ago.
