I own ,exclusively, 212.32 acres of mineral rights in Grady Co. Okla. (Sec.19,3N,6W). Why are these minerals not released?
What do you mean by "not released"? Do you mean why hasn't anyone leased them again, or do you mean they are they being "held" against their will by someone who is demanding a ransom? I am kidding about the second part of course, so would assume the former, and thus will tell you that if someone wanted to lease them from you they would likely have contacted you about a lease by now. That's how it works most of the time.
I have not seen any leases filed of record for this section since 2008 in this section (nor in any of the surrounding sections recently either) so it appears there is not much activity in this immediate area currently as far as leasing goes.

Patricia, we are leased to both Continental Resource and Newfield, and are located in Section 12,13 T3N, R5W and have producing wells since 2012. This is only about 7 miles east of your holdings. They should be looking at your acres for sure. Maybe there is a title or ownership issue that needs to be resolved. Check with Grady County to see if everything is in order, or you can contact a landman such as Jack Fork Co or any other oil company.
Thanks. There are no ownership or title problems. I own the mineral, not the surface,rights. Hopefully, things will change,soon.
From what I see there are no wells in your section. All I can say is good things come to those who wait. Just hope it's not too long of a wait for you.
