Why leased several times

Trying to understand why section 32-4N-15E has been leased out several times throughout the years 2002 Meade Energy Corporation LLC 2006 again leased to Meade Energy Corporation LLC and 2010 leased to Trans-Texas Resources Inc. but no wells have been drilled. Each lease was for 340 acres with 3 year term at 3/16 royalties.

The companies that leased probably thought that they or another operator could make a good well out of an idea. Economic factors may have changed or they could not get enough partners together to make something happen. The 340 acres is probably the gross acreage of the tract of minerals they were leasing. The net acres are likely less.

The oil & gas lease agreement say eg., my name , dealing in his solely owned property a single man then lists my uncle’s address ext. At 3/16ths for three year term then says 340 acres more or less

I never knew anything about the 4 seperate lease agreements for Meade Energy Corporation LLC or Trans-Texas Resources Inc or Scissortail Energy LLC that were signed with my name. And I never received any sign on bonuses or royalty payments or anything no literature no nothing. I just recently discovered these things in min June 2025.

I have warrenty deeds from 1990 when my grandfather warrenty deeded 16 undivided mineral acres in section 28-7N-16E to me. A significant portion of section 32-4N-15E was also warrenty deeded to me in August 1990 by my grandfather. There are eight grandchildren in total that each received equal portions of the two sections as well. The problem is that my father passed away in 1995 and since then my uncle has capitalized on my age and not understanding what minerals were and that I even owned any mineral rights.

I am now realizing the decision and stolen inheritance I’ve been systematically stripped of. And I’ve taken action in the best way I’ve been able too but it seems no one will listen or take the situation seriously. It’s been very discouraging and difficult to navigate through all this alone.

A person would assume that family members that have been in there lives from the very beginning would stand behind one another and look out for the I’ll inform younger generation, but in this specific situation sadly this wasn’t the case.
