Who does the NPRI burden if I don't ratify?

Hello! I have not being able to find a conclusive answer to this question yet. If I am an NPRI owner and do not ratify the lease, and a well is drilled, and I am associated with the drillsite tract. Does my interest burden the royalty owner, the working interest owner, or both (some form each)?

NPRI is always a burden against the mineral interest from which it was created. Determination of how the NPRI decimal is calculated for a well depends on the language of the original deed and other factors such as ratification of the lease or unit.

Here is a link to a paper that may help to explain how NPRIs work in Texas.
