We are minor mineral holders in this pool. We have started receiving many offers to buy our minerals, and it is getting tough to hold out. They are now at 44K. Whats going on down there? We only received $600 in checks from Conoco Phillips in 2020.
Just based on Railroad Commission filings it looks like Conoco (Burlington Resources) is very active in Live Oak right now.
In January and February they filed 13 completion reports, some covering wells that may be only a couple of miles east of your area, that tested over 1200 bpd. Since January they’ve also applied for 27 new permits, most for multiple wells added to existing units. Many of those locations are further east or south but folks may think all that activity could move your direction.
