My mother passed away intestate and has land and mineral rights. She was a resident of Texas at the time of her death but the land and mineral rights are in Oklahoma. Would probate occur in Oklahoma or Texas?
Only Oklahoma Courts have Oklahoma jurisdiction so for Oklahoma property the probate must be filed in Oklahoma.

Usually this can be resolved without having to travel to Oklahoma as an attorney can make all necessary appearances.
