Where to find my Land Deed

Can someone let me know where I can get a copy of my land deed for I have lost the original? My property is in Pecos, TX., Reeves County. Thanks, Mary

If it is recorded, you would get a copy at the Office of County Clerk. They will charge you a fee of $1.00 per page.

Dave is correct. If it has been filed for public record, you can order a copy of it from the Reeves County Clerk's Office.

Clerk's Offices typically charge $1.00 per page for a simple copy. If you want a Certified Copy, which is as valid as the original deed, they will charge you an additional $5.00 or so.
