Where to begin?

I own some mineral rights down in Hidalgo county that came to me by way of inheritance. I have not checked on it in many years. Now, I have no clue who to contact to find out the status of the situation, in 2004 I signed a permit to do geophysical survey. That is the last info I have on this issue.

Is there any particular organization or government entity I can contact to find out what is going on with the "Bentsten Groves subdivision" in Hidalgo county TX?

thanks,

james

james,

This is a good article by Attorney Wade Caldwell:

It would help if you could give the Abstract, Section, and Block # where the minerals are located instead of just a subdivision name.

Thanks,
