I wanted to confirm when an O/G company can legally put funds in suspense if there is no title dispute? Do they owe us interest if they suspend funds because there is no signed W9? We have had a website up since 2011 and are not that hard to find.
No W-9, no pay. They can pay if they want but will withhold up to 35% for federal taxes. Good luck getting interest under these circumstances!
