Signed lease on this a while back then noticed permit to drill approved and filed by Careera 01/04/2018 and expiration date on permit was 07/2018… later received pooling hearing notice for neighboring section that I also have interest in. Been over year since permit expired and no division orders received. Anyone no status on this?
The well has a surface location in section 4, but all the perforations are south in section 9, so you will not received any royalties unless you are in 9.
I do have rights in Section 9 but was confused by attached permit Careera Energy Permit.pdf (111.6 KB) Is Section 9 producing and if so should I have received a division order?
The other thing I was confused by was that permit was filed by Careera and yet when I look up section 9 it show Devon Energy. Can you explain that?
The well has not been drilled yet. Devon has control over section 9 older wells, but may not have had section 4 where the well is supposed to be spud.
