I received a phone call offering me $50,000 for my 20 Acres in Sec 575 Block… I have no idea if this is a good offer, a terrible offer, etc… I have signed another 20 Acres in the same area $400 NMA 25%.

Have they approved Horizontal permit, or ???

Until you give us a complete legal description of your mineral acreage, no one can tell you if this is a good or bad offer. We need Abstract, Section and Block number. And I assume this is Yoakum County, Texas.

To Brandon and Clint. I too own in Yoakum. See my post here. Texas Mineral Rights - The Mineral Rights Forum. It’s Section 89, Block D, Abstract 601, John H. Gibson. I control two 1/30 sections - one section is already under lease and I’m sitting on an offer for the other.

Don’t know much about all this. If you could get me up to speed I would be very grateful. Thanks.

How do I get in on this discussion? Personal messaging? I have rights in Yoakum County SE/4 Section 160 Block D J H Gibson and have a lease offer of 3 years $450 NMA with 1/4 royalties. I don’t know if this is good or bad. Some of you appear to be in the area too and I would like to know what offers you have. This will help me decide if I should negotiate for more or be happy with the offer I have.

I hope things are heating up like drilling. I don’t know the name of the company or anything since I signed. It would be nice to know but do not know how to get that info. The leasing guy said it was a secret.
