what is a fair current lease price & royalty offer for minerals in Yoakum County Sec. 276?
In negotiating I find that most landmen offer about 1/2 of what they’ll pay. Try for 25% royalty. In the long term that’s more important than the lease bonus.
Thanks Linda. In the initial offer, they did offer 25 percent. That is good, but I have no idea what would be a fair lease bonus.
