What does 'comingle at the wellbore' mean?

It's an optional reason included on form 1023 with Oklahoma Corporation Commission.

I did a search and the best answer I found wasn't all that good. Figured I'd take advantage of those so generous with their understanding here. ; ~ }

Commingled Well - A well producing from two or more formations through common well casing and a single tubing string.

so, is this only a straight hole process? if not, how does it happen with horizontal holes? I'm thinking it must be by fracking adjacent formations with one horizontal run?

Only for Verticle Holes as far as I know. I could be wrong about that. New technology emerging every day.
