What can I expect?

My Grandpa and Grandma have passed away WD Mock and Iva Mock.

I was left mineral right to Sec 33 5N 7W, EOG sent me papers to sign,

they ask if I wanted money and a percent, I chose 1/4 and no money up front.

I am not sure if this is a good thing or bad, this is all new to me. They also said I

have 16 shares whatever that means, they won’t tell me much if I call.

I am not even sure where this is located. My Grandma said that when she passed away

I would be taken care of. Could this be what she was talking about?

Penny, I also have a few acres in 33-5-7 that I leased for 1/4. I would guess that you have 16 acres not shares. EOG will drill a horizontal well and if it is a good well your 16 acres should bring a nice monthly check. I am not sure when they plan to start drilling but maybe one of our “in the know” members can keep us informed. Let’s pray for a good one.
