I have leased some mineral rights on land in Wetzel County in January 2018. A knowledgeable person has told me that there are already ‘lateral’ lines under the property and that it probably has been producing for several years. I was paid for the lease but not told it is producing or received any royalties. How would I go about finding out if it is producing? Lease is with EQT. I called the leasing person who said he ‘would check’ but haven’t heard back. Any ideas how to proceed?
