Thank you this is all confusing. I hadn’t heard anything then I said I thought I should get an attorney and now they’re telling me that the lease or leases need to be adjusted so that they could pay accordingly I didn’t even know that they were drilling
It would be wise to get an attorney to check into it. One should not adjust leases based upon the operator’s opinion. They have their own interests at heart. You do not want to sign a lease without someone representing you.
