I have a 60 acre place that I own 50% mineral rights with my option to drill if we decide to drill. Have about that much run front to back. Own another 30 acres next door with just surface rights. I have been approached by a company that has sewed up neighboring properties. Have heard about this forced pooling and and the company has tied up about 500 or more acres and I'm at the end of the line. Is pooling the way to go? Neighbor has a producing old well next door with a different company on about 200 acres. There also is a producing well they just drilled a while back less than a mile south of us off north Smithville Rd. My place is north of Cistern/Muldoon highway Must be a good one as they have 7 high barrel tanks they haul constantly. Could be water but who knows.
I would go to the site and ask a trucker. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
