I received 6 separate mineral tax bills for 2011 and I was only paid for 3 wells, and Chesapeake says I only have 3 wells. We recently did division orders on my property all the way back to 2008 and we were paid back pay. My question is, are the wells, for example, Crouch B#1HCRWCRW and Crouch B#1H CRW_NC considered only one well even though the County taxes them separately? We live in Texas, Tarrant County.
Any insight into this will help.
