Sorry if this has been asked and answered many times,but I am not very good at forum cruising.
How many wells are permitted ( by law) in a section in North Dakota. I am in a 2 section pool with 2 producing wells. Can more wells be drilled on the sections? They are in Dunn Co.

It varies depending on exactly where you are. If you go to the hearing dockets at:
https://www.dmr.nd.gov/oilgas/docketindex.asp
and search through them you will find that some spacing units allow for 4 and some for less but this keeps changing. You could probably assume that there would be around 4 eventually. That is my best guess
