Well Lat/Longs accurate in Oklahoma?

Scenario: 2 different leases, all wells are producing…Lease A has 3 wells. Upon retrieving the Lat/Long for each well in the OCC well lookup, each well can be easily located on Google Earth; Lease B has 4 wells. Upon retrieving the Lat/Longs for each well from the OCC website, only 1 well appears remotely operational, the rest cannot be located…no wells close to the listed Lat/Longs. Each lease is 25+ years old. Is there a possible explanation for this?

According to the OCC website, have the wells you are looking for been plugged?

They are listed as “AC”…to my understanding not plugged, and have had some production as recently as 8-2018.

Only can think that Lat/Long aren’t correct on the old filings.

Both leases exist from the same approximate time period of the early 80’s…interesting.
