I heard that a new well is going to be drilled in Grimes County south of Iola. I am not aware that any minerals are being leased in the county. Maybe it’s on a property where the lease is held by production. Does anyone have any information?
You would need to be more specific with a block, abstract and section description. Have you looked on the Texas Railroad Commission site?

I see one permit to the west of IOLA near the county line with Brazos. I see another one about nine miles to the SSE, also near the county line with Brazos.
I don’t have any specific information about the proposed location of a well, other than it being near highway 244 south of Iola. Thank you for your response.
