Well added to tight hole status but was already confidential

Hi I have had a well that has been on confidential status since 4/1/14. Then on 4/7/15 I saw on the daily reports it was released from “tight hole.” Then on 4/22/15 it was approved for “tight hole.” Isn’t tight hole and confidential the same thing? Why would Cornerstone release it and add it again? I thought you could only be confidential for 6 months?

Does this mean it was drilled at some point or they have done nothing? Sorry if these are ignorant questions.

WELLS APPROVED FOR “TIGHT HOLE” STATUS:

#28044 - CORNERSTONE NATURAL RESOURCES LLC, LOSEE B-0706-6390, SESW 7-163N-90W, BURKE COUNTY,

Thank you

I think that means that they have drilled the well but do not plan to complete it immediately… they have a statutory amount of time to delay completion (and many companies are delaying completion so that they don’t extract the minerals at a time when oil is priced so low and storage is priced so high). Don’t quote me on that… I’m not in regulatory, so I’m not as familiar with the terminology.
