Any one knows if their is new drilling in Ward County for minerals?
Ward County is quite active, with great variations by location due to the geology. For a specific response, you need to post the legal descriptions. If you considering a purchse, be sure to know whether it includes minerals and what fraction. Research for wells and permits around the tract.
See the Baker Hughes rig map. It does not show many smaller rigs, but is pretty accurate on where the large horizontal rigs are.
