Does anyone know if there is any oil/gas activity going on in Ward County?
I owned 5.64 acres in Ward County in Section 11 and Block 33.
I heard a lot of activity going on in the area, yet no one contacted me regarding surface lease or anything of such. I am not sure whether I own mineral rights or not. Can anyone tell me how to find out whether I own mineral rights or not?

DAVID KNOX said: I have also heard Ward County is very active and have 2 tracts that are nonproducing. Would like to sell the rights. I was offered $3,000 from Nantucket 2 years ago but didn’t take the offer and would like to now find out what I could get for them but I don’t know what they are worth now. M/3 of the SE/2 in Section 147 and S/4W/4 in Section 166, Block 34, H&TC RR Co. Survey. I leased these to Cimarex almost 4 years ago and almost up. I just don’t know how to find someone that would be interested in them. Cimarex paid me $340 to lease 4 years. Now I’m looking to sell the rights. I did find out they are in the west part of the County. Thank you for any advice you could give me. dknox2086@gmail.com
