I was approached about waiving my surface rights to a company that’s looking to put in a solar farm in northwest Limestone County. What’s the going rate for something like that?
If you own the minerals and it is a large tract, then it is possible that giving precedence to the solar farm could impair drilling. For example, what other use do you have for the surface and how can you ensure that all the installations are removed.
