Who / what office do I contact to find out exactly what amount of acreage I now own and if it's surface only, surface and minerals, or both? I inherited a mish-mash of small pieces in several counties in LA and one in TX. I think all might be leased but ??? and they are under different companies. Some are producing, some are not.
I tried contacting the company that holds leases on the most and all I've gotten (for weeks) is "We'll get back to you."
