Have been getting claim forms from the United States Bankruptcy Court Southern District of Texas Houston Division instructing me to file a claim. Problem is that I don’t know if I have any interests in Vanguard or Eagle Rock. Anyone else out there recieving these claim forms? Thanks
They send that form to everyone who might have a claim. My understanding is that if you have simple mineral acres with royalties, you do not have to file. Mineral owners are already in a preferred status. This is for other folks who might have a lien against the company. So far, with about 20 bankruptcies of companies piling paperwork on me, I have not filed and then eventually a few months or years later, I get a small pittance in return.
