Valuing Active Brine Well Columbia County 2024

I own an interest in an active producing brine well in Columbia County, Arkansas.

My aunt recently passed away and her family is interested in selling her half of the mineral rights.

I have no idea what that is worth, my family and I own the other half and I would like to keep it in the family.

What is the current approximate rate on buying? I saw a blog post on another site and at the time of the post it said $375 an acre was the going rate and we have 80 acres.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Are you trying to buy from the aunt’s family?
If not, then the operator might want to buy. You could call them and see what they would offer and use as a guideline.

You may not own 80 acres. If you are looking at the lease, the gross tract acreage is on it. You may have to contact the operator to see what the net acreage is.
