I get email notices in some groups I don’t follow or comment on but do not get them on some I do comment in. Is there a way to opt in or opt out I am missing?

I really enjoy the subject matter and the interactions with everyone have been wonderful… the only complaint is that the threads automatically close after x number of days. I can see maybe why that’s a good thing; however, there are many threads I see I want to give input in but it’s already closed…

Seems like there’s been an uptick of posts centered around “Will my well be drilled?” or lease bonus questions on the main forum. Martha does the best she can to say there’s no way of knowing. Sometimes a poster in the same Section has recently leased and can provide info on what they leased for, but those are rare. Maybe create a new tab/page for those questions?

I try to change the topic header to the correct state and county as I answer them, but might not have had enough coffee every day. If folks would automatically post in the proper county, it would really help. There is a Getting Started Tab at the top. New folks, please read it!

What happened to the view count that would show up for a topic? I just noticed that has gone missing in the last few days. I found that quite useful.

I was in Africa recently on a photo safari. I found that the forum software blocked me from viewing the forum if I was on the ground using Wi-Fi in South Africa and England. But I was able to view the forum using Wi-Fi while I was in the air onboard aircraft. Strange!
Having issues getting my posts approved? Not sure why I received a message that my posts would be approved without delay and one was, after that my posts have been waiting admin approval for 3 months now? What gives?
All of a sudden when I click on notifications (where my picture is) I have nothing but a bunch of old (up to 10 years) topics I commented on and they are marked MRFAI. Can’t get rid of them. Does anyone know what this is?
