Can someone in our forum pass along to me ANY knowledge about “How to find out what the royalty check total for the month will be” BEFORE the check lands in the mail box.
I have the “Mineral IQ” app and it DOES give me a total At the 1st of every month, but it doesn’t say from whom the check will be from”
Nothing on the app allows me this info and heaven forbid I try to email each one every month to find out because we all know how long that takes.
Any help on this matter is sincerely appreciated

Are you asking about an operator with only one particular well or a particular operator with many wells?
In general, one might be able to get a few days ahead of the mail arriving if the check has already been cut and the statement is available through Enverus or another vendor or you have an email alert sent by the operator. I have several operators who send me the statement ahead of time and I get the check about ten days later. You can usually set that email alert up with the royalty owner group at the operator. Every operator has a different check cut date, so the 1st of the month is not really a helpful time frame.

Thank you, I think I’ll contact the operator on this suggestion. ( IF ) they will respond ! lol…..
I don’t get any notifications from Enverus until a royalty check has been issued BUT by the 2nd or 3rd of every month, I already get sent the total for the month but the dollar amount is just that. It’s just a number. There’s no info connected to it.

If the oil company uses either EnergyLink or Mineral Answers, then you can access the pdf for the check detail. On either platform, you log in and download the pdf.

You do need to keep the statements for your tax season as they have important and necessary information. I keep mine for ten years by scans.

My company sends me the check amount through my E-mail before I get the check.
