I received a letter from United Energy out of Edmond, OK offering to purchase our lease or mineral rights. We did already sign a lease with another company and have received a royalty payment. Is it legal to break that contract and lease or sell to another company (United Energy)?

I do not know of United Energy. If you have received a royalty payment, you are under lease to someone---maybe who drilled the well. Sounds like this Edmond group wants to buy your minerals. Who dirlled this well?
What is the current well producing? Need more info to give sound suggestion. Thanks, John
