My mother-in-law inherited various Mineral, Surface, and Royalty rights recently in almost 20 counties around Texas (and 1 in Louisiana). We want to begin the process of auctioning the interests; however, we have a hodgepodge of details for all the non-producing properties with some including Survey/Section/Block info and others a more vague reference to ownership from the 1930s (or similar confusing details). Before we auction, we need research done for each of the counties; however, hiring Landmen from each county seems excessive.
