My mother in law inherited various Mineral, Surface, and Royalty rights recently in almost 20 counties around Texas (and 1 in Louisiana). We want to begin the process of auctioning the interests, however we have a hodgepodge of details for all the non-producing properties with some including Survey/Section/Block info and others a more vague reference to ownership from the 1930s (or similar confusing details). Before we auction we need research done for each of the counties, however hiring Landmen from each county seems excessive.
