Hello, we need help locating royalty payments from 2000 to 2025 as our parents have passed away leaving us with a list of approximately 20 oil companies, owner ID numbers and well information in the states of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. My cousins and I have submitted Affidavits of Heirship to the various companies and corresponding counties. Is there a person, profession or app that does this type of research? We need help because we are observing the same well information associated with several companies. Any tips for research would be greatly appreciated.

It may be helpful to organize your files by state, county, township, range and then section. Start with what you find in your parents files. You may also own acreage that is not producing.
Operators frequently sell wells to other operators so you may see a well with two or more operators over time.
You can do the research yourself if you have the patience and are good with a spreadsheet. If you want to start with Oklahoma, I can tell you where to look for information that is practically free. Then once you get the gist of it, the other states can come next. You need to get familiar with the state oil and gas commissions and how to look up information. You can hire a landman, but that would be more expensive.
You also need to hunt at www.missingmoney.com to see if you have missing royalties in any of those states.
