Unable to find Deed recording in Mcclain County Recods

We purchased a Mineral Deed about 2 years ago on June15,2010 we had it recorded in MCclain

county OK with the county clerk. When we got it back it had the county Clek -MCclain County

Seal on it and a stamp. It has a sticker on it that gives the thirteen digit reference number, the date , the Book and page numbers, the fee paid and Doc. 0.00 with Lois Hawkins--McClain County Clerk-- State of Oklahoma. In the right hand corner of the document it said : By DB, Deputy. Return to AACO P.O. Box 1565, Purcell, OK 73080. We did get the original Mineral Deed back and it looked authentic. Now today, September 20, 2012, we recieved a request for lease but the land Company claims they can't find the recording of the Deed to verify it's our Deed.

We have tried to go online to find the recording of this record and

are unable to locate it. Can you help us and give us advice? Thank you.

Mr. Fantazia, I have tried to search documents and had no luck until I searched by the instrument nimber. You have probably already tried this, I'm just mentioning on the off chance that you haven't and if you have the option to search that way with records in McClain county. Possibly you could scan and a-mail or fax your deed to the landman and he could carry on from there, he/she is the professional after all. Best wishes.

Mr Fantazia,

If it is Book 1968 Pg 781, it is there. I just looked at it and it has the return address you specified. Give the Landman the Book and Page number and they can find it and look at it as I did.

You can find the listing for it at okcountyrecords.com but you need an account to view the document.
