Uintah County, Utah sends me notices about who is buying up land in Uintah County. Years ago, myself and several others owned mineral rights up there and there has been minimal production up there. How do I find out if there are new finds? The county recorder’s website has changed and I can no longer get information about our shares. Help.

There has been a resurgence of activity as of late in the Duchesne/Uintah area with EP Energy and a few others. It is a pretty tight area where they are targeting as you can see by active permits and rigs on the map below. Leasing has trended towards the southeast corner of the county but not much activity.
What part of Uintah County? I’ve done some work around there and can take a look for ya.
