Turner Oil & Gas Properties and Seaport Well

I have had correspondence back and forth from Turner Oil and Gas who is supposed to be working as a broker for Continental to secure leases. I would like any feedback you have about this company.

I just received a letter stating that they could not take my lease because I didn’t meet the 30 day deadline. I have been in touch with Taylor at Continental for over a year and also had correspondence from Rod Richardson as well as the latest correspondence I received from Jon White from Turner Oil & Gas. If anyone has information about this company, please let me know.

My other family members who are also involved with this Section 15 T2S R3W in Carter have had their leases recorded with the county. I submitted all the information they requested. One more question: Can you recommend an attorney that I might use to resolve this concern? Thank you,

You can observe qualified professionals (often with localized expertise) who provide services to mineral owners right here on The Mineral Rights Forum. You will notice them among 3 different instances on the site:

  • in display image ads and/or brief text messaging on site

  • in our Mineral Service Provider Directory in the main navigation above. These are arranged by professional discipline.

  • as a Business Member participating in many conversations throughout the site (note the blue colored “B” on their picture and blue text on their posts).

These practitioners are often able to provide the specific (and often localized) services that meet your needs.

Camino pooled the section 15-2S-3W on Jun 7, 2021. If you were not leased or did not answer the pooling, then they probably assigned you the 1/8th royalty option.

Citation plans to drill a well in sec 10 (25%), 15 (50%) and n/2 of 22 (25%). The name was supposed to be Justify 1-10-15-22XHM. It was spud on Sept 9.

If you are talking about the Seaport well, it is in 14 & 23 of 2S-3W. That is the Continental section. It was completed in May 2021. https://imaging.occ.ok.gov/OG/Well%20Records/1DDC1B97.pdf

Turner Oil & Gas has been a leasing company that has been around for many years. Suggest you contact the Division Order Department at Continental to find out about your status.

Thank you so much for clarifying the answers to my questions. I sure appreciate your quick responses and the depth of your explanations to help me understand the oil and energy business.
